RECIPE INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup Himalayan barnyard millet from Trishulii
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp of Trishulii Badri Cow Ghee
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 green chili (chopped)
- 1 inch ginger (grated)
- 1 onion (chopped) – optional
- 1 carrot, beans, peas (finely chopped) – optional
- Salt to taste
- Curry leaves and coriander leaves for garnish

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Rinse barnyard millet thoroughly and drain
2. Heat Trishulii Badri cow ghee in a pan
3. Add cumin seeds, green chili, ginger, and curry leaves. Sauté for a few seconds
4. Add chopped onions (if using) and cook until translucent
5. Add vegetables and sauté for 2–3 minutes
6. Add the millet and mix well
7. Pour in water and add salt. Bring it to a boil
8. Cover and simmer for 10–15 minutes or until the millet is soft and water is absorbed
9. Fluff with a fork and garnish with fresh coriander
