RECIPE INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup Trishulii Himalayan red rice
- 2.5–3 cups water (for cooking)
- 1 tablespoon Badri cow ghee
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds (optional)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 small tomato, chopped (optional)
- 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander or curry leaves for garnish
- Optional: steamed vegetables or boiled lentils for a power meal

RECIPE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Rinse the Himalayan red rice thoroughly
2. Soak in water for 1–2 hours (to reduce cooking time)
3. In a pot or pressure cooker, add soaked rice and 2.5–3 cups water
4. Cook until rice is tender but not mushy (approx. 25–30 mins in pot or 3–4 whistles in pressure cooker)
5. In a pan, heat Trishulii Badri cow ghee
6. Add cumin seeds, chopped onion, garlic, and tomato
7. Sauté for 2–3 minutes until soft and fragrant
8. Add cooked red rice and salt. Mix gently
9. Garnish with chopped coriander or curry leaves
10. Add steamed veggies, lentils, or a boiled egg for a complete meal
